Stern's The Munsters Pro Pinball Machine
Testing out the new Stern "The Munsters" pinball machine.
An original pinball experience celebrating the iconic American TV hit sitcom, The Munsters. Players will be transported to 1313 Mockingbird Lane, joining the entire Munsters family on this haunted pinball adventure. Featuring Herman, Raven, Lily, Spot and Grandpa, players will work their way towards Munster Madness in this frightfully funny and action-packed pinball world under glass. The Munsters pinball machines will be available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models.
Stern’s The Munsters Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models feature stunning and distinctive hand-drawn art. Each game features a custom sculpted Herman bash toy with magnetized ball catch, highlighting Herman multiball. In addition, all models include a pop-up Spot bash toy hidden under the left ramp, a custom sculpted Drag-U-La toy car featured near a left shooter lane kicker, as well as a metal turn-around, flip-up ramp.

Just out of curiosity. Why didn't you just leave the original battery holder on the board and just solder onto the holders legs that are going to the same points on the motherboard? Then you could still bypass it and move them, but you also leave the board as original as possible for potential buyers down the road. Sure, smart new buyers should all want this done, but some people are very anal about things being as original as possible. It couldn't have hurt.
Because the original battery hold was acid damaged and we are all about keeping the machine alive down the road. We want to get the batteries away from the board to avoid acid damage to the board. Preference is yours.
How do you set strength on that claw machine please.
Bruce, it has a control pot on the board you adjust.
Hello. This crane (if you have the adjustable strength version) can have its strength adjusted by moving the dial located at R5 on the main board. Move the dial upward to strengthen it and downward to weaken. Hope this helps

Thank you for posting the video. My Fish Tales had battery damage and I was able to remove the old holder, clean it up, and install remote batteries. Should be good to go for a long while.
Perfect. What did you use to cut out the old holder? I have to do this to my Big Guns. I'm not a professional, but I did manage to remove, repair and fix a drop target bank, so I think I can do it if I have the right tools. Thanks!
Thanks for this video! This did the trick to get rid of the obnoxious "adjustment error" after turning the unit in. I had a bad battery holder, but I was lucky and my board was not damaged.
